“Last year, Setter Play provided us with an entirely new play area following a devastating fire that left our site needing a complete re-installation including groundworks, re-levelling the area, surfacing, wooden gazebo, musical instruments, activity trails and a fantastic Pirate Ship climbing frame.  From start to finish, Setters were completely respectful of our school environment, and the company worked seamlessly alongside our Project Management Company involved to ensure the installation went as smoothly and quickly as possible within the confines of an area cordoned off on our playground.  We found all the staff involved to be both efficient and personable and, to date, have not had any problems with any of the work or equipment, and would be pleased to recommend Setter Play to you.”

We considered tenders from many companies  – Setter stood out as having the most wide ranging catalogue, the most adventurous equipment whilst also producing a very very natural-looking playground, which was important to our community.

 

Perhaps most importantly their sales and design team, lead by Aleks, was incredibly helpful and genuinely thought about our requirements and created some wonderful designs and several bespoke units for us, all with competitive pricing. They were an excellent partner in what was a 2-year project and we would not hesitate to recommend them; the village green has never been so busy and the equipment has a big thumbs up from the local children.”

This project has been in the pipeline for several years and the involvement of Setter has, from the initial “what’s possible” stage through to our current installation stage the personal service we have received has been excellent.  In developing our ideas of what we would like your advice and suggestions – and responses to our questions and queries of what is possible – has really helped us to develop our own ideas.  You have responded to all our queries around the more specialist nature and challenges of SEN provision, and this continues now as we ‘tweak’ things that we are seeing in place/in scale for the first time.

 

Our funding was secured very close to the summer holidays and going from “we’d love to be able to…..” to finalised plans and breaking ground in around 6/8 weeks has meant that we will get a whole extra year of use and enjoyment from the play spaces.  Due to these timescales, work continues in autumn term and again, you have helped us address all the additional challenges that this brings – ensuring your contractors are up to speed and providing a very good level of oversight and management of the project.
