Brandles School in Baldock commissioned Setter Play to provide a variety of different adventure play provisions in their grounds, to provide their pupils with constructive and exciting outlets to burn off excess energy outside of classes.

Mr Smith set a brief to provide two parallel runs of adventure trails, enabling their pupils to partake in friendly competition whilst promoting fine- and gross-motor skill development through play.

As part of our designs we are also tasked with creating a climbing wall for their pupils to attempt, with colour-coded rock holds depending on the level of challenge provided.

Both climbing walls were complete with black wetpour to help cushion accidental slips and falls.

We were very proud of this project, especially as Mr. Smith told us that behaviour has improved since it was completed, which really demonstrates the benefits that playtime can provide.
