Ivel Valley SEN School in Biggleswade asked Setter Play to inject some excitement to a mound of earth they had in the middle of their grounds. So we set about with the aim to aid in their pupils’ physical development through play, with a variety of activities for children to traverse up and down the bank.

A huge scramble net invites children to clamber up the bank, aiding in gross-motor skills as well as balance and co-ordination.

The school requested all uprights to be installed into steel feet, to prolong the equipment’s lifespan, and enable it to be relocated if needed.

A climbing rank features handrails and a landing platform to aid in ease-of-access.

On their playing field they set a brief to create a double-width bridge, so children could explore together.

Another embankment ramp aids in upper-body strength development as well as grip-and-grasp.

We’re very proud to work for another local school, having installed some play equipment for Ivel Valley previously, and we hope their pupils love their new play area.
