South End Junior School asked Setter Play to refresh their play area, which featured a large tower-based climbing frame which was nearing the end of it’s lifespan.

They liked the platforms of their old unit, and so we proposed a similar design, Jellywood, with some tweaks to raise it’s platform height to 1500mm, to ensure it provided a challenge for their older pupils.

The new climber features five towers, each packed with challenging climbing, hanging, swinging and balancing activities, to aid in South End Junior pupils’ healthy development through play. We overlaid the space with new wetpour rubber safety surfacing, to help cushion accidental slips and falls.

We have now worked with South End Juniors and South End Infants’ school next door, and we are very proud that both schools have come to us to deliver their latest outdoor projects.
