Stondon Lower School is a long-time customer of Setter Play, for which we are hugely grateful. They invited Setter Play to remove and dispose their old adventure trail, that we installed over 10 years ago, to replace it with an exciting new all-weather play area to transform the corner of their grounds.

An adventure trail leads down the hill towards their exciting new centrepiece climber, complete with groundworks and black wetpour rubber to provide dependable year-round access.

At the bottom of the hill we installed our Huckleberry climber, with two prominent platforms providing an exciting vantage point, and lots of different levels of challenge, to complement the school’s plans to convert to a primary school.

Huckleberry features simple steps providing access to the HDPE slide, and a challenging overhead ladder to promote grip-and-grasp and upper body strength development. The second platform features a fireman’s pole to promote risk-assessment skills, as well as a scramble net leading up to it, and a shop panel for some imagination play.

This project was very fun to deliver, and we hope the school loves it.
