Broken Cross Primary School in Macclesfield asked Setter Play to remove a huge bark pit in their grounds and to refresh the space with some new equipment all-weather surfacing.

You can see a picture of the area before the works below – we also organised to remove the shipping container (pictured to the right with a painted mural on it) to open up the space even further.

Below is an image of the play area after, with artificial grass throughout and a challenging adventure trail to create an exciting new space for their pupils to play.

We made sure to include a range of challenging activities for balance and co-ordination as well as grip-and-grasp and gross-motor skills.

The space then widens out with new artificial grass surfacing, extending their all-weather accessible space massively. We’re very proud of this project and hope their grand opening goes well!
