Wixams Tree Primary near to Bedford have been long-time customers of ours, so we were really pleased to be selected by them to deliver their centrepiece play area in early 2022.
We were told by their headteacher that this area in the grounds, which was previously bare ground, suffered with really bad drainage. And so our proposals began with a comprehensive drainage plan, before installing a suitable sub-base for artificial grass.
On top of their new all-weather surface we proposed to install a play castle climbing frame, with our free-form Dinosaur Nest climber opposite to provide their pupils with contrasting styles of play, and ensure there is something for everybody.
The space was finished with two Up-and-Over Playhouses, providing a space for imagination-play along with fine-motor skill development. 
We’re really proud of this project, which has really transformed Wixams Tree’s grounds.
