Larwood School in Stevenage asked Setter Play to refresh their rear garden play area, as they are enjoying an influx of new pupils and need to ensure they have exciting outdoor facilities for them to explore

Larwood set us a budget to deliver a play area with three focuses; an impressive climbing frame, a balancing trail and an inclusive basket swing.

They loved the Hucklerock climber we proposed, as well as the challenging adventure trail which runs along the side of the play area

Hucklerock features platforms at 900mm and 1200mm in height to create a rising challenge, and Larwood climber had a unique twist, with an A-frame to create a den from the back of the lower tower, as a special request.

A basket swing provides a stable base for friends to enjoy gently swinging together. Rubber matting provides an element of all-weather access as well as anti-erosion beneath the swing and play area activities.

We have previously worked with Larwood School on a number of projects, so we are hugely proud to have been selected for their next scheme. We can’t wait for their pupils to enjoy their new play area after returning from half-term!
