Weald Rise Primary School asked Setter Play to design a large outdoor classroom on their playing field, with a very specific brief about the capacity and the style. As we specialise in bespoke designs, this was no problem at all!

The school requested balustrade panels to the outsides of the shelter, so as to not impede supervision, whilst still creating an enclosed ‘feel’. A whiteboard is the finishing touch, to be installed on the full-height panels. Benches around the outside provide ample seating for a class of pupils.

As part of the project the school also wanted bonded rubber mulch surfacing beneath the shelter, and also a pathway leading to a newly developed nature corner, providing all-weather access to their two new spaces.

Forest Shelters are a big hit as they have more capacity than a comparably sized gazebo, for less cost!
