Having worked with many schools in Letchworth over the years, we were very pleased to be selected by Icknield Infants School to extend their EYFS play area, bringing in an unutilised slope to create a challenging adventure trail up and down the bank
A pull-up rope aids in upper-body strength, with stepping logs to challenge balance and co-ordination, and two rope activities to shimmy along and improve hand-eye co-ordination. A scramble net on the opposite side completes the trail, and we also installed the fencing to create a new perimeter to their outdoor teaching space further along the hill.
The pictures were taken prior to the laying of a rubber mulch surface, to provide all-weather access as well as fall-protection. We’re proud to work with another school, and particularly pleased as Hillshott’s Infants School nearby recommended us to Icknield Infants which helped us win the contract.
