Three Bridges Primary in Southall, West London, have been searching for solutions to their EYFS play area for a couple of years, and invited Setter Play to visit their school to see what we could design for them. They loved our bespoke treehouse design and commissioned us to start the build.

The space was previously difficult to access, and so a key part of their brief was to re-regulate the ground and remove rotten timbers before installing something new and exciting in the space. Underfoot we laid bonded rubber mulch to be in keeping with the natural look of the space.

Three Bridges Treehouse features a main deck at 900mm-high, ideal for the age group, with a jaunty playhouse on the top deck to provide a space for imagination-play games.

An arched bridge links the main deck to the treehouse deck, where an ice cream parlour provides another imagination-play space to help their pupils develop their interpersonal and social skills.

A scramble net provides another challenging route up, helping to engage grip-and-grasp and upper body strength.

We’re very proud of this fantastic example of our bespoke design capabilities, and pleased that Mr. Hannay at Three Bridges chose us for their latest project.
